28Jan-01Feb BeniFest – The Spanish Song Contest to choose the entrant to represent Spain in the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest. The contest is held right here in Benidorm and the Old Town is packed with party people and there is a fantastic vibrant atmosphere.

06Feb-09Feb BeniSoul – This annual Soul Music party is a mix of Northern Soul, Motown, Reggae and Ska. Get your dancing shoes ready!

01Mar-04Mar Benidorm Carnival – Benidorm marks the start of Spring with this Carnival. Beginning with a children’s parade at 10am and adult parade at 8.30pm with fancy dress. On the Tuesday, the Carnival climaxes with the burial of the Sardine, this for the locals signifies the end of Winter and the start of the fishing season. The Sardine is transported through the streets of the Old Town to Poniente Beach

11Mar-14Mar Cheltenham Week – Yes, even here in Benidorm we love the shenanigans surrounding the Cheltenham Week. most of the bars and hotels have large screens for you to enjoy the racing and maybe even have a little flutter!

15Mar-19Mar Benidorm Fallas – The Benidorm Fallas is where you can join in the party and watch the effigy burning. There are street parties and processions, firecrackers. The burning of the effigy known as ‘Crema’ always takes place on the 19th (Day of San Jose and also Father’s Day in Spain). You can watch the flames in 3 areas of Benidorm – Rincon de Loix, Centro (Bristol Hotel) and on c/Thomas Ortuno.

17Mar Saint Patrick’s Day – All over Benidorm there is a sea of GREEN! Lots of music, shows and of course most people dressed in Green and wonderful hats! Enjoy your favourite drink and some ‘Baby Guinness’ shots here at Oliver’s (check out our Specials page nearer the time).

13Apr-20Apr Easter Week – In Spanish ‘Semana Santa’ and this is one of the most celebrated weeks in the Benidorm Calendar. Different processions on different days starting on Palm Sunday through to Easter Sunday.

25Apr-27Apr Elvis Fiesta – This 3 day annual event has been going for 15 years. Although the main event is held in the Melia Hotel you will find Elvis tributes and characters popping up all over the New and Old Town.

05Jul-06Jul RBF (Reggaeton Beach Festival) – A music mix of Panama Reggae, Jamaican Dance, New York Hip-Hop, Cuban Salsa and Puerto Rican Bomb should your dancing shoes a tapping!

25Jul-27Jul Low Festival – This Indie Festival has over 70 acts from all over the Spain and the rest of the world. 3 days of dancing and enjoy the massive array of talent.

01Sep-07Sep Benidorm Pride – This annual event has over the years turned into what is probably Benidorm’s favourite ‘Party Week’. The Old Town is buzzing with street parties, Rainbow flags, Nightly events and all culminating with a fantastic parade full of vibrant costumes which goes along Levante Beach and ends at the Julio Inglesias Auditorium where there is a free show with a variety of acts to entertain till late in the evening.

07Nov-13Nov Benidorm Fiestas – This is the biggest Fiesta for Benidorm. The Old Town is decorated with flowers, lights and there are outdoor theatres, live music, colourful parades with floats, puppet shows and so much more. The Old Town will be full of Penas (pop up bars) which party deep in to the night. The end of the Fiestas is on the Wednesday evening with a spectacular firework show and then on Thursday (13th) is the now infamous ‘Fancy Dress Party’ – all over Benidorm holidaymakers will be in an array of weird and wonderful costumes.

15Nov Burning of the Artichoke – There is an all day ‘Street Party’ here on the Placa – right in front of our bar! The event culminates in the evening when they burn the huge artichoke……… Sit back, have a drink on our Terrace and enjoy the day!

22Nov Benidorm Half – This half Marathon has reached it’s 40th year! It goes along the coast and right through the Old Town. It is also possible to enter the race but get your application in early as there is a maximum of entrants allowed….. or better still, just have a seat and a drink on our Terrace and enjoy the views!

24Dec & 31Dec Daytime Disco – This all day Disco is held right on the street right in front of our Terrace. Where you can sit and enjoy the day with your favourite tipple.
